Giorgio Andriani is a visiting student for 6 months until the end of December 2017. He is working on the EDEN 2020 project and, in particular, on the evaluation of the feasibility of Raman spectroscopy for the identification and classification of the brain tumors. During his period here, he also collaborates with Renishaw, which provided us the Raman Instrumentation, and the Humanitas hospital of Rozzano, which provided the fresh brain tissue samples for the analysis. Thanks to Humanitas, we will also be able to have histopathological analysis of the analyzed tissue, so we will be able to correlate our findings with the gold standards methods used. my CV could be found here.
