Hang Su was born in Shandong province, China. He achieved his master education in South China University of Technology, focusing on the development of rehabilitation robot. He graduated in 2015 with a thesis on Research of Rehabilitation Training System Based on Virtual Reality. He has also published several papers related to surgical robot, exoskeleton robot, bionic hands, EMG signal processing on the international conference and journals. Now, he is pursuing a PhD Degree as a member of the Medical and Robotic Surgery group (NEARLab) in Politecnico di Milano, working on technologies in tele-operation for surgical robots. His main research interests include control and instrumentation in robot-assisted surgery and medical robotics.
