Hang Su 苏航 米兰理工大学

HangHang Su was born in Shandong province, China. He achieved his master study in South China University of Technology, China, supervised by by Prof. Zhijun Li and Prof. Chunyi Su, focusing on the development of a 24-DoFrehabilitation robot. He graduated in 2015 with a thesis on Research of Rehabilitation Training System Based on Virtual Reality. From November 2015 to October 2019, he worked as a member of the Medical and Robotic Surgery group (NEARLab) in Politecnico di Milano, Italy, pursuing a Ph.D. Degree, supervised by Prof. Elena De Momi and Prof. Giancarlo Ferrigno. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the technologies in human-robot interaction on surgical robots. He has also published several papers related to robot control in ICRA 2018, ICRA 2019 and RAL etc., and some other papers related to exoskeleton robot, bionic hands, EMG signal processing on the international conference and journals. His main research interests include control and instrumentation in medical robotics.
For master thesis supervising, he worked with two master candidates in Politecnico di Milano on human-robot interaction. All of them graduated and each of them co-authored with one ICRA paper, separately. He also worked with one master student from Politecnico di Torino on bilateral teleoperation, who graduated and co-authored with one journal paper. He is open but strict in research, looking forward to working with more amazing candidates.
