GNB 2018: Sixth National Congress of Bioengineering

“Bioengineering, a crucial sector for technological development, linked to health and quality of life”

The Sixth National Congress of Bioengineering is the melting pot among biomedical research and clinical end users fully inserted in the framework of the most advanced international research in bioengineering, which combines the engineering background with the clinical one.

Held on a biannual base, it provides an overview of recent activities and breakthrough research in the field of Biomedical Engineering and aims at involving all members of the scientific and industrial communities: scientists, end users, stakeholders, entrepreneurs and startuppers in a win-win scenario.

The Congress was held in Politecnico di Milano, June 25-27th: Three days to take stock of the bioengineering sector, a rapidly growing sector with fields of application ranging from basic research to business creation with the birth of startups.

The sixth National Congress of Bioengineering was organized by Politecnico di Milano, Gruppo Nazionale di Bioingegneria and CNR IEIIT in collaboration with Fondazione Politecnico di Milano.
