Maria Lazzaroni

Maria Lazzaroni received her master degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2016 from Politecnico di Milano with an experimental thesis carried out at Dynamic Interaction Control Lab of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), Genova, dealing with human dynamics estimation during physical human-robot interaction.
In 2017, she has started a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, Neuroengineering and Medical Robotics Laboratory (NearLab), working in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), under the supervision of Jesus Ortiz at Advanced Robotics Lab (ADVR). Her research is mainly focused on the development of wearable assistive exoskeletons based on the combination of relevant measurements from the environment with biosignals from the user.
