Chiara Lambranzi, MSc

Biomedical Engineer

Research Areas:
Human-Robot interaction, Robotic rehabilitation

Location

Center for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (CRIS),
Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT)

Via S. Quirico, 19d, 16163, Genova, Italy

Chiara received a BD in Biomedical Engineering in 2019 from Università degli Studi di Padova and a MD in Biomedical Engineering in 2022 from Politecnico di Milano. During her thesis at NearLab, supervised by Prof. ssa Elena De Momi, she developed a path planning algorithm for the navigation of the aorta, within the ATLAS project. Chiara is pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering at the Wearable Robots, Exoskeletons, and Exosuits Laboratory (XoLab) of the Advanced Robotics section of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) and the Electronic Information and Bioengineering Department of Politecnico di Milano. She is working on a lower-limb soft exoskeleton.

Adaptive control strategies for rehabilitation

Chiara’s research focus will be on adaptive control strategies for a lower-limb soft exoskeleton for rehabilitation and everyday use.
