Davide received his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in biomedical technologies, from the University of Pisa in October 2023. His thesis, conducted at the STORM Lab at the University of Leeds (UK), focused on developing a soft magnetic continuum robot to assist tissue penetration. He is currently a research fellow at Leonardo Robotics Labs in the NEAR Lab, working on the FUtuRo Project in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa. His research aims to implement a planning system for focused ultrasound based on medical images, followed by developing visualization methods through extended reality.
