Luca was born in Roma (Italy) in 1994. He obtained his master degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2019 from Politecnico di Milano with a thesis entitled “Human Body Pose Optimisation Through Real-Time Monitoring of Joints Compressive Forces: Towards an Ergonomic Robot Collaborative Framework”. Since November 2019, he is a Bioengineering PhD fellow at Politecnico di Milano, Neuroengineering and Medical Robotics laboratory (NearLab), working in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), under the supervision of Dr. Arash Ajoudani at Human-Robot Interfaces and Physical Interaction laboratory (HRII).

Human dynamics estimation

Luca focus his research on human dynamics estimation for the purpose of the development of feedback interfaces applicable to the human subject interacting with the robot during assistive or collaborative task.
