Elisa received her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering – Technologies for Electronics – from Politecnico di Milano in April 2021 with a score of 110/110. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) of Politecnico di Milano. Her research mainly focuses on human-robot interaction and cooperation in the field of neurosurgery. 

Human-robot interaction in robotic neurosurgery

Elisa focuses on the development of assistive robotic solutions in the filed of neurosurgery with the aim of reducing surgeon workload, improving ergonomics and maximize surgical outcome. She collaborates with Humanitas Research Hospital. 

Collaborations

Elisa will spend her period abroad at the Ben Gurion University in Be’er Sheva, focusing her research on understating the optimal camera positioning starting from kinematic and visual data.
